The Accelevents API is a REST API that gives you programmatic access to the objects and data that power your events, including registrations, attendees, sessions, orders, and more.

What you can build

Use the Accelevents API to:

• Build custom integrations that connect Accelevents with your existing tech stack, such as your CRM, marketing automation, or data warehouse
• Create custom applications on top of the Accelevents platform
• Integrate your own application with Accelevents to sync data in either direction

Rate limits

We have a rate limit for our API for the following:

DELETE endpoints

• API Key users: 10 requests of REST type DELETE per minute per user
• Authenticated web users (Auth Token): 10 requests of REST type DELETE per minute per user

All endpoints

• API Key users: 50 same-URI requests per minute per user
• Authenticated web users (Auth Token): 100 same-URI requests per minute per user
• For API Key, max 1000 requests per minute of any type of URI. Requests beyond this limit will be rejected until the next minute begins.

All rules use a 1-minute evaluation window and are aggregated using the following custom keys:

• URI path (normalized to lowercase)
• Source IP address
• API Key (for API users) or Auth Token (for authenticated web users)

What happens when we reach the API rate limit?

When you hit the limit you will receive an error response like below:

⚠️ If this happens, please add a limit on the number of calls you are making.

If you expect sustained high-volume usage, design your integration to batch requests and handle rate limit responses gracefully.
